Here are some pictures of his special day!
He got to help lead the "Star Block". He remembered it quite well and did a great job.
Here he is receiving his belt and certificate.
He is becoming one with the karate belt. He is supposed to have his hands forming a triangle to remember to better himself in mind, body and spirit.
They had a family member help him tie on the new belt. (Princess had to be involved. There are her pink shoes.)
The ceremony was really cool and fun for Link. He is a great kid and really loves karate!

My four year old is forever karate chopping people so we asked him, "do you want to take karate lessons?"
he said no.
he already *knows* karate, he said.
we didn't argue. ;-)
congrats to link!! i love the belt ceremonies...i think i'll have one more starting in january...so we get to white belt again :)
