I'm Pottytrained!

If only Princess were as well.

This is day three and we have had only one or two accidents per day so far! It is great! As long as I remember to make her sit on the toilet about every hour, she does great. So, I'm really the one that is trained for now. I hope that eventually she catches on, too. She is enjoying the Tinkerbell panties and feeling like a big girl.

One horror story: After the first day of going on the toilet, we went to the store to get some "pretty panties", as promised. She had gone to the bathroom a little before we left, so I thought she'd be fine on a 20 minute trip. Well, she wet her pants right in front of the underwear display. It was really embarrassing to walk through the store holding new panties, with a little girl in wet pants. I got lucky, though. We had a towel in the van that she could sit on so that she didn't soak her car seat!

Aw, poor girl.

I think it took about a month before I didn't have to make Elora go every hour or so, just in case.
Now we're pretty much accident free, unless she doesn't go before bedtimes.

I'm glad she really know to be embarassed!! Though, maybe that would help things along, eh?

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday on Tuesday. I'll be on my way back to St. George, so I probably won't get to it then. BTW, your blog background is adorable....GREAT CHOICE!!!!

...and potty training...*sigh* What a joy! So many memories! (remind me to tell you sometime about Jake and the Disappearing Poo, a story set at church)

Good luck to you both!

Hurray! My little guy went on his own yesterday and we just about had a heart attack from shock. His sister refused to pooop until she was 3 1/2 so we at least have some hope!
