I lived in Florida until I was 21, so I was used to green EVERYWHERE. There was very little change of season color. There was also green most of the year, even in summer. Here, in Utah, the spring is when we get most of the green. Summer turns brown with the dry weather. Fall is gorgeous, too, with the leaves turning yellow, orange, red and brown. Winter is white. My favorite is spring when everything is coming back to life.
I have learned to appreciate the various colors and changes. Some people have trouble when they move from a "green" place to here. I just love it! There is so much more variety. I think when something is more rare, you can learn to appreciate it more. When I lived it Florida, I didn't think about the green everywhere. (I did wish I could have leaf color in the fall and snow in the winter.)
I just wish we could get out and enjoy the spring. It has been cold and wet lately. We have snow, rain and cold weather in the forecast, too. :(
