I did better this week than I did last week. That is a big step!
This week, I want to work on waking up (and actually getting out of bed) at 5 am!! I know, it sounds like some crazy person time to wake up and I agree with you. Aaron commutes and carpools, so he has to leave the house at about 6:15. I get up with him, make breakfast and help him get ready for work. The kids also get up pretty early. Belle does anyway. Luke is not a morning person!
Anyway, Aaron usually gets up and showers at about 5 and I stay in bed until 5:30 or 5:40. That doesn't give a lot of time for helping him much.
So, I want to wake up and actually get out of bed at 5 and start the day. I think it will give me some time to get myself ready for the day as well.
Come see what all the fun is about at The Lazy Organizer!!

Good luck! I am lucky I can get up at 6 if I don't have to work. ;)
5 does sound early but maybe it can give you some quiet time for yourself while your sweetie is getting ready and the kids are still snoozing. i like the quietness of the house on the mornings i get up early. good luck and have a great week!
Crazy Lady! Just kidding. My dream would be to be able to get up that early but I married the wrong man for that to ever happen. He is a night owl and I am converted.
wow, that is way too early for me! I've always been a night owl....I still am, just not as bad. I had a job for three years where I had to catch the bus by 6:00 AM, and many days I would wake up at 5:30, then put on my makeup stuff at work (Showering the night before, of course.)
Now I don't get up anywhere near that early.
ps Joseph was thrilled that you commented on his site. Thanks!
I am rooting for you all the way. I often fantasize about all the things I could get done if I could manage to wake up at 5. For now, I settle for being happy that I'm awake at 6:30.
