Long story short, and because I don't want this to be a big whine fest, I had contractions for about 12 & 1/2 hours, yesterday-we went to the hospital-now I am at home and still pregnant with NO contractions!
I am really annoyed. We went when we were told, and there was no progress, so we were told we could stay and wait 2 or 3 hours on my doctor to come and check, but there was no real point in that. I was so uncomfortable in that bed, that I just wanted to be home.
I am hoping that it is a good sign that I'll go into labor on my own in the next few days!

Hey, I'm so glad you stopped by my blog. I hate it that I've had no time this summer to keep in touch, but such is how it goes sometime. I haven't been visiting blogs much at all either, so I am glad you left a comment. It was a reminder to check on you and the baby. How exciting to come over and hear s/he is almost here! I will pray when I think of you the next few days! I am so excited for you and hope all goes extraordinarily well. Do you think it would be realistic to pray for NO pain? Hee hee. Any way, I'm super excited for you and can't wait to "meet" your newest little blog subject. I WILL be checking in for the next few days!

Oh I feel for you. This little guy did the same thing to me. But I've been sent home from the hospital enough times to know I hate it so I don't even call the doc anymore until I'm 100% sure.
Hang in there (don't you get sick of hearing that?). Eat all the chocolate and spicy food you can while you wait. Soon nursing will limit the choices. =(
